The Second AETHER - MORPHEUS Workshop- Autumn School entitled From Reconfigurable to Self - Adaptive Computing (AMWAS'08) will be organized in Lugano, Switzerland in October 7-9, 2007. The innovative "Workshop-Autumn School" format is chosen to provide participants with both grounding on a new, challenging scientific area and with exposure to research results and proposals.
This Symposium is composed of two different parts. The first one will be dedicated to courses addressing students in Computer Science, Software and Hardware and anyone interested in the topics of the Symposium:
- Adaptive and Self-Adaptive Systems
- Static Adaptation
- Dynamic Adaptation
- Dynamic Reconfiguration and Self-Adaptivity
- Parallelization and Allocation of an Application onto Reconfigurable Architectures
- Pervasive Networks
The second part of the Symposium will be the occasion to bring together researchers around the above topics with some talks and keynotes.
